New York, N.Y. January 28, 2019 – Three content leaders have joined forces to tackle the oft-expressed but rarely met need for speed. Diane McAveeney, Ben Sargent and José Fernández announce the launch of Group‑Q, a digital, language, and technology agency, which opened its doors in January 2019.

José served as head of content and localization at Google and as sales operations leader at multiple high-growth tech companies. Ben led global content strategy at CSA Research. Diane’s distinguished career includes senior and executive roles focused on client service optimization at top-ranked global publishing and language service providers.

“At this point in my career I am super excited to be co-creating an agency and developing service models based on my experience working with customers on five continents,” McAveeney added. “I’ve worked with Ben and Jose both in the past. Together we have a unique synergy for solving industry problems at lightning speed.”

“In 12 years of helping global brands, agencies, and software makers at CSA Research,” said Sargent, “I heard the same litany of pain points. In talks with Diane and Jose, I knew this was a team that could solve global go-to-market challenges differently. We are building a new kind of agency — one focused on digital experience and brand storytelling, but with global strategy and local execution baked in.”

In 2019 founders expect its initial focus on brand storytelling, video script adaptation, and native copywriting to expand to include full-service localization and high-volume, AI-based translation in collaboration with established language industry partners.
